Seoul Project- ITAEWON

Our group went to Itaewon. We took a picture in front of the mark 'public office of Itaewon 1 dong'. 유선민 explores about US military base and embassies. 김수지 explores about foreign restaurant. 이정원 explores about Itaewon market. 선우효은 explores about Imitation market.

There are US military base and a lot of embassies in Itaewon. We saw some foreign embassies, but we can't take a picture. There is a police man and he obstructs us to take a picture. So, we just see map of embassies on the road. We also saw military base. I took a picture in front of there. It is a very bic place. Because of these two things, there are many foreign people in Itaewon. We went there early morning, so we can't see a lot, but we saw some foreigners.

There are many foreigners in Itaewon. Because there are US military base and lots of foreign embassies. So there are various restaurants for foreigners from many countries. We saw Chinese restaurant, American steak restaurant, Japanese restaurant. But we can see these places anywhere in Korea. We found somewhere special. It was Pakistan & India restaurant. I took a photo in front of there. I want to eat special food in there next time.

Between fasionable people, Itaewon is a must shopping center for them. Why they prefer Itaewon? It is the reason why there are many unique and exoticism style clothes and price is low. When we ask to fasionable people that where they shopping, they don't hesitate and say" Itaewon". But when we arrive at Itaewon, there are all exoticism signboard and they treat foreigners. We don't know what shall we do. But we walk Itaewon's streat carefully, can find fasionable girls get out from an inlet, there is Itaewon market. Dongdaemoon's shopping rounge is cover a wide range, but Itaewon's is centered to Itaewon market. The exterior of a building is not good but inside, there are many cheap and polishing clothes.

We went Itaewon and we saw Itaewon Market. There was many goods like bag, cloth, accessories and etc . And these are almost imitation. So we call these market 'Imitation Market'. 'Imitation Market' maybe satarted at Korea most lively and now many countries have these market and people like these. In these market, we can saw louisvuitton's imitation bag. The price was much cheaper than it's real price. Nowadays, imitation market is growing much, so it is hard to distinguish the real goods and the imitation. This side of 'Imitation Market' looks attractive for many people who come to Itaewon, so it can be loved by many people.
